| What is WavySea? |
WavySea is a Natural Real Wave-Creation System. It adds on to your already existing water pumps to create the most natural ambience of the open ocean you've ever seen. The secret is in the rotating head.

| Is WavySea harmful to my fish? |
WavySea 100% aquarium friendly. Whether it be your livestocks or your rocks. Only the MaxiJet powerhead is known to cause some temperature changes, but WavySea alone will not harm anything in your tank.

| How do I install WavySea? |
WavySea Product Manual is supplied with your order. It is a simple step-by-step procedure on assembling, mounting and setting up WavySea. It is so simple to set up that any child could do it. You simply assemble the WavySea, then mount it on the location you wish to install, then use the controller to set the waves. That's it. SET-IT-AND-FORGET-IT.

| I have a pretty small/large tank, will WavySea work
and fit? |
Yes! WavySea works on virtually any tank size whether it be 10 gallons, 1,000 gallons or 10,000 gallons because it works with your current water pumps. You adjust the strength of the wave flow by changing the strength on your current pumps. If you have more than one pump for your aquarium, you will need more than on WavySea. One for each pump.
Note: A 1.25" Mounting Bracket is
available separately for those with tanks thicker than 3/4".
Other tank models with unique
edges may require some trimming. If trimming is not an
option, easiest way to mount WavySea onto an edge that will not
fit is simply to add a small wooden board on the side you want
WavySea. Attach the WavySea onto the board.

| How is WavySea different from my current water pumps? |
WavySea has many benefits beyond its looks compared to a traditional water pumps (including powerheads). It creates an oxygen rich environment that really makes your aquarium come alive. Its rotating motor creates waves that look like the real underwater ocean. For full details, see Product Info.

| What is the maximum
GPH for WavySea? |
WavySea is a work of engineering genius.
Our tests from over 200 locations have revealed that WavySea can
handle maximum of 2,300 GPH (Gallons Per Hour)! But of
course, no device should be driven to its max. It should
be able to handle just about anything you throw at it! For
those that require more flow, WavySea Plus+ can handle up to
3,600 GPH!!!
More about the maximum limit: 2,300 maximum
GPH will vary depending on many factors. This
includes water condition and even the climate of your residence
(due to air pressure).

| How fast does WavySea
head rotate? |
There are 6 speed settings for WavySea.
Each speed level is researched for maximum reef duplication to
just about any tank size. They are not arithmetically set
but were determined through hundreds of hours of testing.
The following chart shows the time it takes WavySea to rotate
180 degrees one way.
-
Level 1 - 70 seconds
-
Level 2 - 56 seconds
-
Level 3 - 44 seconds
-
Level 4 - 28 seconds
-
Level 5 - 14 seconds

| What is 9 RMS Watts
per year? |
|
If you have WavySea plugged into a power
conditioner, the RMS Wattage does not apply to you. For
the rest of us that use surge protectors or plug it
directly into a wall, electrical current that goes into your
electronic appliance differs. Depending on your electronic
device tolerance, the power consumption may differ by the
second. RMS Wattage is the average power consumption of
the unit. It is calculated by the second to however long a
period. Longer length of time means more accurate reading.
WavySea is impossibly energy efficient. In a one year
period, it consumes only 9 RMS watts of power. Note that
this does not mean WavySea uses 9 watts total in one year.
RMS Wattages are not calculated by adding time but by the
average consumption during that time. A good example would
be a 100-watt stereo. It cannot be labeled as 6,000 watts
per minute but 50 RMS Watts in one minute. The number 50
is just used as an example because a 100-watt stereo usually
means
100-watt max. Its average RMS Wattage may be far lower.

| What is the difference
between WavySea and WavySea Plus+? |
|
Nearly 1,300 GPH difference. WavySea Plus+ was specifically designed for
high-pressure wave-creation. The difference is that the
Plus+ model can handle significantly more than the original
WavySea. The
original WavySea can handle up to 2,300 GPH while Plus+ can
handle 3,600 GPH.

| How do I get the the
maximum result out of my WavySea Plus+? |
|
The 3,600 GPH of the Plus+ varies depending on
many factors. But to get the maximum, please follow the
instructions on the back of the manual. It has
simple instructions on how to get the maximum output flow.
